Cortina - Discontinuation Notice

 

When the Hotel & Restaurant Division of Villeroy & Boch started selling directly to the hospitality trade more than twenty five years ago our best selling range was very traditional embossed range called Cortina.

As the hospitality industry has changed Villeroy & Boch has adapted to meet the changing needs of our customers and as a result of this the much loved Cortina range will no longer be available from January 2010.

New production techniques now allow us to manufacture lighter, whiter, brighter and stronger chinaware from our European factories and we have created a new modern classic for the twenty first century, La Scala.

 

La Scala’s classic shape and delicately embossed pattern is made of the same durable body as all other Villeroy & Boch porcelain ranges so you can easily mix and match this more traditional style with your existing Villeroy & Boch ranges.

 

To ensure it is practical as well as beautiful it has a complete range of accessories including stacking cups and stacking tea and coffee pots

 

Although Cortina will still be available until the end of this year, we are now offering an extra 20% free stock and will honour your existing discount, not only on La Scala chinaware, but also on the matching La Scala Cutlery and Function glass to help replace your Cortina.

 

Furthermore due to advances in our production methods La Scala is less expensive than our Cortina range as you can see below:
